Description:

Responsible for the supervision of kitchen staff to ensure all food is prepared following recipes and yield guidelines according to department standards.

 

Duties:

Preparation of food items in addition to maintaining control charts to attain forecasted food cost and minimize waste as well as supervising and training staff. Candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, shift is primarily days with some evenings though this may vary depending on business needs.

 

Qualifications:

Candidate must have strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and strong understaing of basic culinary principals.  Previous restaurant and supervisory experience is required.
